What We Do

Cohesive is a software and technology firm with a passion for emerging platforms and new media. Many of our applications focus on the social networking space, with the goal of connecting users and driving user interaction. We cover many aspects of product development from planning, consulting and programming, to deployment, training and roll-out. Web

We build dynamic, database-driven web applications in Ruby on Rails and PHP, with engaging interfaces created using advanced XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (with JQuery) and/or Flash ActionScript 3.

Mobile

Currently we are focusing on Apple's extremely popular iPhone platform, and are developing applications and frameworks for that device. We're also keeping our eye on a few others out there like Google's Android, and rumored app stores from Nokia and Microsoft.

Desktop

We love just about all things web, but for some applications a desktop version of an app just makes sense. There are some great, lightweight options out there like Adobe Air, and dashboard widgets for Mac OS X and Windows Vista that can be developed without the typical time and cost investment of a traditional desktop app.

Fully Integrated Systems

What if you need everything from a public facing social networking website and mobile application for your users, a full-featured content management system and reporting tool for your administrators, and then a back-end API for developers? Well, we can do that too. We can help you visualize the big picture when it comes to an overall product map and strategy. We help you to understand all the moving pieces, and how they work together to form your product as a whole.
